I’m having a personal dilemma. You know usually how after you eat
lunch.. you really need to use the restroom? I had one of those days
today.. needless to say its nothing out of the norm. Anyway, you have
to understand that at my work, there is a much bigger men to women
ratio.. so we have three men’s restrooms and 1 women’s… then we have
1 unisex bathroom for showering. Anyways, I go downstairs cuz I
couldn’t hold it any longer and well… there was someone from
facilities fixing something in there. I was like errghh I got to
go….. and then he pops his head out and is like.. give me 10 minutes.
Well here’s the thing, I didn’t have 10 minutes. My options were, use a
mens restroom and possibly get fired because I did something
inappropriate, or…. use the unisex shower one. Well most people go to
the gym on their lunch breaks and use the shower after. Luckily no one
was in there so I slithered in an did my duty and waited for any
suspecting people walking by to leave. Well I didn’t hear anyone
outside, so I quickly slithered out and come to find that waiting at
the end of the hall was someone wanting to use the shower… I was like
ohhhhh geez. What’s worse is that it was a guy, and a lead at that! So
I was like oh dear god -.-; mortified because we all know guys don’t
blieve girls go #2. So I write up an email to one of the HR ladies and
say:

I wasn’t really sure who to ask, but
I thought I would ask someone from HR. Would it be possible to get a petition
going to reopen a women’s restroom upstairs? It is very inconvenient when there
a facilities person in the only restroom available to us. It is especially when
you really have to go or it’s an “emergency”. I would hate having to end up
using a men’s restroom and possibly be reprimanded for doing something
considered inappropriate when I have no other options. I do realize there is a
bigger men to women ratio, but we do have women on all the development teams.

After typing this I’m still very embarassed sitting here at my desk
hoping the same guy who went in after me, wont come to my desk asking
me not to use the shower room as a restroom. >.<;;;;;

making out of this.. please girls I know you feel me on this one. So he
